John E. Carr

John E. Carr

President and Chief Executive Officer

As president and chief executive officer of MIQ Logistics, John Carr leads the company's efforts to provide global, transportation and distribution services, enabling customers to improve overall supply-chain processes and more efficiently connect with their suppliers and final consumers. Carr joined the company in 2007 as president of Americas and Europe.

Carr has more than 30 years of experience in global logistics. He has distinguished himself in his work with customers on solutions design and subsequent implementation, demonstrating that execution is the key to success in the supply-chain world. Before MIQ Logistics, Carr was president of Global Supply Chain Management at BAX Global Logistics. He was group vice president and, later, executive vice president of Sales & Marketing at Fritz Companies. Carr also held leadership positions at Profit/LEP International (GEO Logistics).

Carr has a Bachelor's degree in business administration and a Master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a member of the Georgia Technology Institute Advisory Board for the Executive Master's in International Logistics advanced degree program. Carr also is on the advisory board and past chairman of Kidz2Leaders, a nonprofit organization that helps change the lives of prisoners' children and break the cycle of incarceration.


Dan Bentzinger

Senior VP Transportation Services and Chief Information Officer

As senior vice president and chief information officer, Dan Bentzinger is responsible for all information-technology-related functions at MIQ Logistics, including technology development and support.

Before joining the company, Bentzinger was senior vice president and chief information officer for Transportation.com where he led the technology development group for the startup company. Before that, Bentzinger was chief information officer for The Kansas City Southern Railway (KCSR) and helped transform a legacy-centric staff into a vibrant, customer-focused organization. He further advanced his transportation expertise and developed key relationships with industry professionals while holding positions at Yellow Technology Services, Andersen Consulting and IBM.


Michael W. Collins

Senior Vice President Global Operations

As senior vice president Global Operations at MIQ Logistics, Michael Collins is responsible for the company's operations in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Before his current position, he was responsible for sales and operations in the Americas and Europe where he led business growth and supported the company's development and expansion efforts in Asia. Collins joined the company in 2003.

Before joining MIQ Logistics, Collins was vice president of Global Operations for GPS USA and a regional director before that. Collins also worked at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics where he was director of Operations and director of Market Development. Prior to that, Collins served in various management, international transportation, supply chain and customs brokerage capacities at BAX Global.

Collins has more than 25 years of experience in the logistics and forwarding industry.


Reid Schultz

General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer

As general counsel and chief administrative officer for MIQ Logistics, Reid Schultz oversees the company’s legal, compliance and human resource matters.  Schultz joined the company in 2007 as division counsel.  He recently served as vice president – legal and assistant general counsel of YRC Worldwide Inc.  While at YRC Worldwide he was responsible for legal matters relating to acquisitions, divestitures, compliance, litigation, insurance and general contracting matters.  He serves as an Independent Director of the Greater Kansas City Foreign Trade Zone, Inc. 

Prior to YRCW Worldwide, he practiced law at the firm of Schiff Hardin, LLP in Chicago, Illinois, and held senior business positions with GSE S.A. and Butler Manufacturing Company. Schultz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, and a juris doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.


Brenda Stasiulis

Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer for MIQ Logistics, Brenda Stasiulis is responsible for global finance, accounting and treasury. Stasiulis, who joined the company in 2004, also has responsibility for human resources and benefits.

Stasiulis was a part of YRC Worldwide for 6 years and held the position of vice president - assistant controller. Responsibilities included regulatory filings, worldwide consolidation and global policies. Prior to that she was with Ernst & Young LLP for 16 years. While there, Stasiulis worked in the audit practice, specializing in manufacturing and service industries.

Stasiulis earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting, graduating magna cum laude from Baker University. She received her CPA certification in 1989. She is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and the United Way Young Leaders Society. An alumna of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Stasiulis leads a group of alumni volunteers in managing the budget for maintaining its 100-year-old housing structure.
